1999 Brown AQHA Mare
HYPP N/N
This mare was one of
the first "big time" longeliners, that set the new standard for
how the yearlings should move. She won quite a few
longeline futurities, and was 3rd of 85 entries in the Congress
Open Longeline. She has also earned $4984 in NSBA earnings.
Her dam, Miss Custom Charlie, (Custom Investment out of Ima
Charlie) is one of the McWhirter's reference broodmares,
currently in foal to Absolute Investment.
Her sire, An Awesome Mister, has distinguished himself with
top honors in both halter and western pleasure. He won the large
Junior Western Pleasure class at the Congress. He came back two
days later to win the Western Pleasure Maturity. At that time no
horse had ever won the Junior and Maturity in the same year.
At the World Show he won both go rounds handily, and was 3rd in
the finals with three judges placing him first. He is a
leading sire of both halter and pleasure horses, and this mare
really looks and moves like her daddy.

"Tess" has produced 5 foals to date. She was
well started as a 2YO but took a back burner to Congress 2s and
had 3 foals when I had the opportunity to buy her. She was in
foal at the time, and after that colt was weaned I invested
about 6 months of training in her. She is extremely trainable,
with slow legs and a desire to please. She is deep hocked,
and really throws her front leg out in front of her.
Because I already had a good mare to show, and
based on how much I like her yearling, I decided to breed her
again. She has a stunning filly at her side by the legendary
sire Zips Chocolate Chip, and she should be a GREAT one.
